Motor Cover Plate-2

Product Overview

This product exemplifies our precision machining capabilities, specifically designed for end‑sealing, fixing, and protection of micro‑motors and servo motors used in medical automation equipment and semiconductor devices.

We are not a supplier of standard off‑the‑shelf products, but a service provider specializing in non‑standard metal parts manufacturing. With your drawings or samples, we manage the entire process—from material selection, process planning, inspection, to surface finishing—delivering dimensionally accurate, aesthetically finished metal cover plates. We excel particularly in machining small precision flange faces and thin‑plate workpieces, strictly controlling hole‑pattern positional accuracy and end‑face flatness to ensure perfect fit and concentricity with the motor housing.

Machining Capabilities

Item Description
Material Default: 6061‑T6 aluminum alloy – offering light weight and good machinability. Alternatives available upon request: 7075 high‑strength aluminum alloy, or 304/316L stainless steel, etc.
Inspection Equipment Equipped with Zeiss CMM (accuracy: 1.5 μm + L/350), Renishaw comparator, Mitutoyo roughness tester, and digital hardness tester. All critical dimensions are 100% inspected or rigorously sampled with precision instruments, ensuring full traceability.
Machining Process High‑precision CNC machining center with coordinated milling and one‑piece forming. The four corner locating holes and the central through‑shaft bore are precision‑reamed/bored under the same datum to strictly control relative positional accuracy; outer radii and edges are automatically chamfered and deburred to prevent damage to motor seals or cables during assembly.
Dimensional Accuracy Distance errors among the four corner mounting holes and positional accuracy of the center bore: strictly controlled within ≤ ±0.02 mm; overall flatness of the plate surface strictly maintained to ensure effective sealing of the motor interior when the end cover is tightened; fit tolerances between the center bore and shaft (e.g., H7/g6) can be executed per your drawings. Tighter tolerances can be accommodated per your drawings, with full dimension reports provided upon request.
Surface Finish Mechanical finishes such as tool‑mark removal and brushing are offered, resulting in clean, flat surfaces free of burrs and sharp edges, meeting the clean‑appearance standards for medical/semiconductor equipment. For specialized treatments like anodizing, hard coating, or sandblasting, you may arrange them locally, or we can coordinate subcontracting (lead time and cost quoted separately).
Quality Consistency Strict first‑article full inspection + in‑process periodic sampling + last‑article comparison protocol; critical dimensions managed via SPC. Shipments include dimensional inspection reports, with clear batch traceability back to material heat/lot numbers and machining dates.
Lead Time Samples: 15–30 working days;Small batches (≤10 pcs): 30–45 working days;Medium/large volumes or complex surface treatments: quoted separately.Rush services available.

Customization Services

We excel in customizing miniature motor end covers, sensor mounting bases, precision flanges, and special‑shaped mounting plates per your drawings or actual samples. For this type of end cover plate, we support:

1. Non‑standard mounting hole spacing and external shapes – custom corner hole distances and square/round profiles to match different motor models (e.g., NEMA stepper motors, coreless motors, etc.).

2. Center bore and shaft fit tolerances – precise control of center bore diameter and fit class (e.g., interference fit, transition fit) to match your motor shaft diameter.

3. Side auxiliary features – small through‑holes, counterbores, or threaded holes added to the plate surface for sensor mounting, anti‑rotation positioning, or cable relief, as needed.

4. Fine surface finishing – high‑standard sandblasting, brushing, or anodizing available to meet medical/clean‑environment requirements.

From programming, machining, and inspection to surface finishing – we offer a one‑stop precision manufacturing service.

Important Notes

Product Scope: We provide metal motor end cover plate machining services only; the product does not include screws, seals, bearings, or other purchased consumables.

Surface Finish: Default finish is tool‑mark removal and mechanical brushing. If you require post‑treatments such as anodizing or sandblasting, please specify in detail during your inquiry so we can assess feasibility and cost.

Custom Order Requirements: To ensure precise concentric fit with the motor shaft, please provide detailed drawings or 3D models before ordering, and clearly specify mounting hole spacing, center bore tolerances, and end‑face flatness requirements.
