Stainless Steel Bearing Plates

Product Overview

This product exemplifies our precision machining capabilities, specifically designed for applications such as guide rail positioning and bearing fixation in medical automation control modules and semiconductor wafer transfer mechanisms.

We are not a supplier of standard off-the-shelf components; rather, we specialize in non‑standard metal parts manufacturing. You provide the drawings or samples, and we handle the entire process—from material selection, process planning, and inspection to surface finishing. We are particularly adept at machining slender stainless steel sheets, including milling and drilling, while effectively controlling thermal deformation and hole‑position tolerances. The result is a flat, dimensionally accurate metal structure ready for integration.

Machining Capabilities – Detailed Specifications

Item Description
Materials Default: 304/316L stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, meeting the stringent anti‑rust and cleanliness requirements of medical/semiconductor‑grade equipment. Alternative materials (aluminum, copper alloys, titanium, etc.) are available upon request.
Inspection Equipment Equipped with Zeiss CMM (accuracy 1.5 μm + L/350), Renishaw comparator, Mitutoyo roughness tester, and digital hardness tester. All critical dimensions are fully inspected or rigorously sampled using precision instruments, with full data traceability.
Machining Processes For these slender stainless steel plates, we employ high‑precision CNC milling with single‑setup forming. Cutting parameters are strictly optimized for stainless steel; high‑rigidity tooling suppresses vibration, ensuring high relative positional accuracy for end chamfers, central special‑shaped relief cutouts, stepped surfaces, and all mounting hole patterns, while effectively avoiding bending deformation common in thin‑plate machining.
Dimensional Tolerances Plate flatness is consistently held to ≤ 0.02 mm; positional tolerance of mounting hole patterns ≤ ±0.02 mm; profile tolerance for special‑shaped relief notches and end chamfers ≤ ±0.02 mm. Tighter tolerances can be accommodated per your drawings, with full dimensional reports provided.
Surface Finish & Post‑Treatment We offer vibratory tumbling deburring and manual polishing to completely remove micro‑burrs generated during milling, preventing damage to wiring harnesses or operator injury during assembly or cleanroom use. For stainless steel parts, we support passivation to form a dense oxide film, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance. Special treatments such as sandblasting or electropolishing can be arranged through our subcontracting partners upon request.
Quality Consistency Strict implementation of first‑article full inspection + in‑process periodic sampling + last‑article comparison. Critical dimensions are monitored via SPC. Shipment includes dimensional inspection reports; batch traceability covers material heat numbers and machining dates.
Lead Times Prototype: 15–30 working days; Small batches (≤10 pcs): 30–45 working days; Medium‑to‑large volumes or complex surface treatments: quoted upon evaluation. Expedited service available.

Customization Services

We specialize in manufacturing custom precision metal guide strips, bearing mounting plates, limit blocks, and elongated structural parts per your drawings or physical samples. For such slender plates, we support:

1. Custom contours and relief notches – U‑shaped, V‑shaped, L‑shaped, stepped, and other complex cutouts for cable routing or screw clearance, as required.

2. Custom hole patterns – flexible arrangement of countersunk, through, and threaded holes, with diameters and pitches fully tailored to your drawing.

3. Custom thickness and geometry – accept various thicknesses (e.g., thin plates from 1 mm to 5 mm) and a wide range of geometric forms.

4. From programming, machining, and inspection to surface treatment – we provide a one‑stop precision machining service.

Important Notes

Product Definition: Our company supplies metal bearing plate / positioning block machining services; we do not include mating bearings, dowel pins, screws, or other consumables.

Material & Rust Prevention: Although stainless steel is corrosion‑resistant, untreated machined surfaces may still rust. If passivation for anti‑rust is required, please clearly specify this during inquiry.

Customization Requirements: To ensure high‑precision fit, please provide detailed drawings or 3D models prior to ordering, and specify hole tolerances, relief‑cutout dimensions, and plate flatness requirements.
